The Russian IT company Yadro announced the entering the market of new Kvadra-T tablet computers with its own operating system. Pre-shipments to customers should begin in October-December this year. Yadro development and research centers are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod, and they collect gadget in the Moscow region at the company's factory in Dubna.

Kvadra-T is a flagship device, as it is suitable for work and entertainment.

There is a separate entrance to wired headphones, two speakers and three microphones with a noise reduction function. The tablet is equipped with an 8-core ARM processor with a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz. But the company does not disclose the manufacturer of the processor. As for the cameras, the front has a resolution of 5 megapixels, and the main one - 13 megapixels.

One of the interesting features of Kvadra-T is the GLONASS receiver, which is very relevant, given the likelihood of GPS disconnection in Russia.

The appearance of the tablet is concise. There are three colors to choose from: “Argentum”, “graphite” and “serenity”.

On pre -order, the novelty will cost 39,990 rubles. Also, users will have the opportunity to purchase additional accessories: a cover, a keyboard and a stylus.

On April 5, 2023, Yadro said that it was developing a new domestic operating system for Kvadra consumer mobile devices. It was created on the basis of Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

KVADRA OS saved Android applications, but Google services will not be available on the device.

Google Play in Kvadra-T will replace the largest domestic Rustore application store from VK and the Ministry of Cyphra, which has been operating in Russia since 2022.

Another difference between Kvadra OS and Android is a blocking system with a different arrangement of elements.

For customers from corporate and public sectors, Yadro engineers intend to replace the operating system with Aurora Op the Russian Company Open Mobile Platform.

The model under the control of Aurora OS will become available for order until the end of August of this year.
