Intel video card laptops are already available for preorder Acer Swift X laptop with Arc A370M
- Mar 23
Last week there were reports that Samsung Book2 Pro laptop was put up for sale by the American retailer. It was the first laptop based on Intel ARC, for sale. As it turned out, it was a preliminary list that was quickly deleted, probably because it should not have been available soon.
In Europe, the retail seller PROSHOP made a two laptop based on ACER A370m. These are ultralight 16-inch Swift X laptops, announced in January. In fact, SWIFT X was the first confirmed laptop with the Arc A370 graphics processor. After almost 3 months, SWIFT X is sold at a price of 1299 euros for the Core i5-1240P and 1549 euro platform for i7-1260p:
Both laptops are essentially the same, with the exception of a more powerful processor and a larger memory in the 52G version. These are 16-inch laptops with a WQXGA 2560 × 1600 display and 16 GB of LPDDR5. Despite the larger screen, they weigh only 1.7 kg.
Intel Arc A370M is a discrete video card with low power consumption based on the DG2-128EU graphics processor. It is expected that it will have a 64-bit memory bus and 4 GB of video memory. It must be a good companion for the Alder Lake processor with low power consumption, but not for games. However, Intel claims that Arc A370M will be twice as fast as Xe-LP graphics, which is already more than suitable for simple games.
PROSHOP expects that SWIFT X stocks will be available on May 25, 2022, that is, almost 2 months after the official presentation (March 30).
