Honor has released a new Honor X7 model, designed for the middle segment. The novelty received the Fresh Chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 and works under the control of Android 11 with Emui 11 shell.

Visually, Honor X7 is made in one style with Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite, released last year. Mainly, due to the design of the module with the rear cameras, in the form of two separate circles. Judging by the comments and reviews like this decision not to everyone, but it accurately highlights Honor smartphones against the background of competitors.

The housing of the novelties is made of plastic and is produced in two colors: Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver. The fingerprint scanner is built into the power button on the right face, and the front camera is located in a drop-shaped cut in the center of the screen. Also, the smartphone is equipped with a USB Type-C connector for charging and connecting to a PC, and a 3.5-mm audio disc.

The screen itself is quite simple: IPS matrix, support for the frequency of 90 Hz and resolution 720x1600 (HD +), with a diagonal of 6.74 inches. Available and familiar vision functions and special reading mode are available.

The same can be said about "stuffing". Snapdragon 680 chip, at least formally, and appeared relatively recently, built on the combination of old Kryo 265 Gold cores (Cortex-A73) and Kryo 265 Silver (Cortex-A53), in combination with the Adreno 610 graphics accelerator. However, it is manufactured by Modern 6-nm technical process. The smartphone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM with the ability to expand on 2 GB due to the free space on the drive. The volume of the latter is 128 GB.

Offline Honor X7 operation is provided by a 5000-mAh battery with fast charging support for 22.5 W.

The camera set includes the main sensor for 48 MP, a wide-angle chamber with a resolution of 5 megapixel and 2 megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is equipped with an 8 megapixel matrix.

Network interfaces are represented by Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1, but without NFC support.

The cost has not yet been announced, but as for Russia, the smartphones themselves are unlike the rest of the world, although the official site of Honor is currently declared the emergency of new X-series models. Whether in their number X7 is still unknown.
