Holding "Roselectronics" (part of the state corporation "Rosex") created a prototype simulator based on hybrid reality (AR). Such simulators will allow working in extreme situations and in cooperation with complex equipment. They will be used to prepare military personnel, as well as specialists in high-tech civilian sectors. Such, for example, as aviation, nuclear power, power supply systems.
As part of the peripheral kit for the student: a computer in a backpack behind his back, virtual reality glasses and hand and leg motion sensors. The function of the central "brain" performs the program and technical complex "Avatar".
Thanks to the technologies of mixed reality, real and virtual worlds, physical and digital objects
One person is heated. Virtual objects are placed in real space and indistinguishable from real. As, for example, in the scandalous game of Pokemon Go. Or in the modeling services for furniture arrangement in the apartment.
What opportunities are AR technologies for training? First of all, it is complete and quality learning on simulators. The name of the software and technical complex that refers to a record cash film "Avatar" is not chosen by chance. Like a hero of fantastic history, the user will be immersed in training situations indistinguishable for him from real. Due to what is achieved by the maximum approach of training simulations to "combat" conditions? Let's deal with.
Very soon the release of the ambitious domestic project Sfera. Details about the new digital ecosystem can be found by reference. Startup is open to investors and thankful for support!
Education based on virtual reality (VR) allows you to safely simulate any situations. Up to natural disasters, applying nuclear weapons or large-scale man-made disasters. This is the power of technology.
But there are also their limitations. Existing Gloves and VR suits today do not allow to completely recreate the feelings of the body, which are experiencing a person in a real setting. For example, when walking, running, lifting weights or overcoming obstacles. "Memory of the Body" is unfounded. Because of this, it is impossible to fully form and bring the desired skills to automatib.
Conducting teachings and trainings in real conditions fully includes human body and allows you to form skills. But here is another limitation: it is impossible to realistically recreate situations associated with the risk of people or the danger of destruction of expensive equipment.
The technologies of augmented reality (AR) allow you to use the advantages and VRs, and "toiletty" learning. And at the same time, bypass a number of inherent minuses. On the one hand, a person can move in real space. Testing fatigue from physical effort. Feel the severity and resistance of real objects. Skin perceive real rain and snow. Feet - terrain relief. Enter real premises. Interact with real techniques. Enjoy real vehicles.
On the other hand, AR allows you to enter virtual objects and events into a real environment, the physical presence of which is impossible either too dangerous. The simplest example: working out the skills of working with a real fire extinguisher in a real production room, part of which is covered by a virtual flame.
The "Avatar" system makes it possible not only to practice. The head of classes will be able to track an objective picture of how effectively the trainee acted. Objectivity is achieved through placed on the technique and on the equipment of the trained sensors. Effects for the effectiveness of the training tasks are removed and processed. Such a metric system is also useful and the trainee itself, at the stage of analysis of its actions during the "parsing of flights".
It so happened that the most powerful scientific and technical potential is concentrated in the defense sector. And significant technological breakthroughs are first committed in the defense. Only then and not immediately they come to the civilian sector. With Avatar, everything is different: defense, and civil problems are solved by its creation. The organization of work is responsible for dual-purpose: the prototype is the joint development of the Ryazan Radio Formation (enters the "Radio Electronics" holding) and the military innovation technopolis "Era".
The following steps after the working prototype: Creating an experienced sample, its tests and, finally, the production of "Avatar" for customers.
