The image on which a new family of updated models is depicted on the VideoCardz portal from Disclosuzen, a source with an almost "impeccable track record." According to the information we received, the launch of three new models is scheduled for May 10, and not on April 20, as previously reported. Therefore, the date was transferred, but the source did not indicate the reason. In addition, the RX 6400 for the DIY market should also be officially launched on the same day.
Common for all these cards is a new memory specification of 18 Gbps, however, we are still in the process of confirming the accurate changes that were applied to this new SKU. Higher clock frequencies and higher boards are still on the table.
It is also worth noting that the RX 6650XT has a new design of the cooler. This is no longer a simtable design, but a two-fan. Thus, it corresponds to the configuration of almost all user models of the RX 6600 XT, but it could be necessary to meet the new requirements for power and performance for this SKU. The same applies to the RX 6750XT, now with an additional 3rd fan. It is likely that both MBA models (AMD produced) will be sold through the company's official store. This does not apply to the reference design of the RX 6500XT with one fan.
We expect to hear more about the RX 6x50XT series in the coming weeks (in the end, before the launch is another month). Our readers should expect additional information about specifications, prices and availability of non-standard designs. All this should be clear by May 10.
