A week has passed since Intel has released their Arc graphic processors for laptops. Initially, only the Arc 3 entry level series is now officially "available", and more powerful gaming options will be launched at the beginning of summer. But even a week after the launch of these laptops, Arc A350 and A370M cannot be found anywhere.
Even Twitter is silent, without sharing news about laptops completely on Intel. This means that the launch of Arc Mobile, unfortunately, was no more than announcement, and, despite the promises, the company could not release his graphic processors to the market in the first quarter.
According to Intel support service account, Intel Arc laptops will be available for purchase by the end of the second quarter. Although it was published more than 48 hours ago, it was not yet removed or commented by any of the employees of Intel, but we believe that it could be a misunderstanding. This may relate to either the entire ARC Mobile lineup, or just to the ARC 5/7 series. In any other case, this new information would contradict the fact that Intel said at the ARC event.
However, there is no doubt that with the launch of Arc is clearly something wrong. In fact, many of our readers appealed to us with a question where they can buy a laptop based on Arc, but, frankly, we do not know.
So where are Intel Arc laptops?
It seems that the Acer SWIFT X laptop with the ARC graphics processor, which was specified for the pre-order before the launch of ARC is still available for purchase, but the delivery date has been postponed from May 25 to June 13.
In addition, the B & H clients acquired the Samsung Book2 Pro with the ARC graphics processor (as of March 17) with the VideoCardz Internet portal. Apparently, the laptops that they receive (no matter how insanely it sounded), do not actually have a graphics processor ARC. In fact, Samsung's forums have topics describing this particular problem. Book2 Pro was supposed to become the first design that went on sale with the Arc 3 graphics processor immediately after the event:
You might think that some retail seller could mistakenly indicate the Galaxy Book2 Pro model with graphics processors ARC, although these models have never been intended for them. But, as far as we know, the Samsung Book2 Pro laptops with the ARC graphics processor are sold in the USA, and there is no Samsung on the Samsung website. At the moment, Arc graphic processors in the Book2 series are mentioned only as "optional" in the official press release.
So talk about independent tests of mobile, and the desktop video cards from Intel do not have to ...
