Ivanovo textile companies have shown that economic sanctions are not for despair, but to launch innovative projects. On "Ivesprom" started the production of plaguing sleeves from polyurethane for the oil industry. At one time, it was going to produce such sleeves together with the USA "LUKOIL", but today the project is closed.
What is a flat-eyed sleeve, the easiest way to explain on the example of an ordinary fire hose. Its main advantage is the maximum compactness even with a long length, because in non-working condition it becomes flat.
Polyurethane sleeves are much stronger firefighters and are used primarily for transportation and pumping oil. With the help of such hoses, tankers fill. Previously, they used rubber hoses in the oil industry, but they are not so strong and less comfortable.
For the new production, Ivesprom launched a separate line, and technology of best sleeves was developed with the participation of Ivanovo Polytechnic University. Now the company can produce sleeves up to 2 kilometers long, a total of 150 km per year. In addition, "Ivesprom" is working to improve their operational qualities using heavy-duty aramid fiber. It is now also produced in Ivanovo.
The Russian project Sfera promises to become a real breakthrough in the Russian and world IT industry. Find out the details about the large-scale startup. On the eve of the speedy release, developers are engaged in commissioning and testing of all components and are open to cooperation with investors.
The most famous type of aramid fiber is Kevlar. It makes even body armor. It is clear why such a fiber is 5 times stronger than steel, withstands ultrahigh and ultra-low temperatures, does not burn. At the same time, it can be weave, and from tissue sewing, anything: refractory and heat-resistant clothes, parachutes and so on. Aramid fiber is widely used in the space industry, electronics and defense industry.
Prior to the introduction of sanctions, Russia annually imported up to 500 tons of aramid fiber, and Ivchimprom produces it exclusively on domestic equipment. So far, one machine for the manufacture of fiber is launched, the installation of five more installation.
Ivanovo developers believe that the use of aramid fiber will increase the strength of polyurethane sleeves so that they can withstand the pressure up to 200 atmospheres.
Until recently, the percentage of import substitution in the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation was estimated at 60%. But it seems that this assessment will soon have to revise. Sanctions only spurred domestic companies to accelerated replacement of imported components by Russian counterparts. How do you think were ready for such a turn initiator restrictive measures?
