Hello, friends! Today you will find out whether it is worth investing in Lukoil to earn it in 2022-2023.
Lukoil shares now cost 3800 rubles. What is the reason for such a fall? CEO LUKOIL - Alekperov resigned and went abroad.
His place was taken by the first vice-president of the company. This permutation was expected, since, Alekperov since 2018 planned to move away from affairs and now issued the right time.
Despite the fact that the shares of Lukoil fell after Alekperov left, there is some positive moment in this. Because, on April 13, Alekperov fell under the personal sanctions of Great Britain. And in the interests of the company, he decided to distance himself from Lukoil's activities.
That is, Alekperov does not run from a sinking ship, he simply made a competent and balanced decision so as not to subject the company additional sanctions risks.
But investors perceived this news extremely negative. Literally in a few days, the capitalization of Lukoil fell by more than 10% (for a week - by 23%).
Also, due to sanctions, the company, of course, had problems with the search for consumers for oil. Lukoil offers oil with a discount of $ 30 relative to Brent oil.
Nevertheless, based on the calculations in future cash flows, in 2023 dividends per share will amount to approximately 1000 rubles. Since, in 2022, very high oil prices.
It is not good to count that the dividend yield for 2023 will be in the area of 26% - quite well.
At the meeting on April 29, with a high probability, the Central Bank rate will be reduced to 15%. In this case, dividends of 26% look quite good, given that Lukoil for the long -term perspective will stably pay good dividends. After all, this is one of the most investment companies in the Russian market.
And, perhaps, LUKOIL may still grow on declaration of reverse ransom of shares. While some large-scale baibeks were launched. But if all the same, Baibeks will be announced, the shares can shoot very well.
It is also worth noting that in the event of a ruble devaluation, Lukoil will win. And in rubles, your shares will grow to the size of the devaluation.
Of course, there are risks (and quite high). They are associated with a new package of sanctions from the EU, which will also include advanced sanctions against the oil and gas sector.
But these risks are mostly laid in stock price. There is a chance that as soon as a new sanctions package will already be accepted and when concrete sanctions will be announced, LUKOIL shares can take off on this background.
Because, it usually always happens that investors laid a lot of big negative expectations than the case of sanctions.
In general, LUKOIL has the potential as medium-term rebound (up to 4500-5,000 rubles is + 30%) and the potential of long-term growth.
Loomel's long-term stock can be paid as they pay good dividends. In 2022, most likely, dividends will not (like most companies of the Russian Federation).
Requitting supplies
Lukoil has problems with deliveries, as, about 30% of the supplies went to America. And now all this volume will be redirected to other countries: Asia, India, China.
Of course, this process will require additional costs, but by the end of 2022, we hope, the company will solve this problem.
When to buy?
While the company shares are in a clear downward trend. And the next level of fall is 3600 rubles. At this price, Lukoil is extremely interesting (ideally, of course, 3000 rubles).
Do not buy immediately for the whole share, it is better to highlight some percentage of cache for Lukoil and buy gradually to be able to averaging.
