Budget smartphones are becoming more urgent - user requirements are rarely changing, but the capabilities of the devices are growing. If a few years ago, cheap smartphones most of them were "second-speed", today this niche has occupied fairly productive solutions.

One of the worthy representatives of the budget segment is TECNO - a Chinese company, founded in 2006 and occupied on the market (now on the Russian) important place. I managed to familiarize yourself with one of the new brand smartphones - Tecno Spark 8c - and make it an opinion about it to share it with you. I have something to tell (and you - read).

How to perceive such a smartphone

The state employee and flagship is the "Heaven and Earth" and in terms of cost, and in terms of sensations when used. However, both similar smartphones can perform basic tasks, and this is the main help. That is why I say that the plastic case, any additional features and design in the smartphone for 13 thousand rubles (and less) - far from the main thing.

Moreover, the last criterion of TECNO Spark 8c is not so bad: two modules are fitted in the block of the main chamber, the flash and scanner of prints, but without oddities it was not - there is also a plug with an inscription AI (apparently for quantity) that smartphone, As for me, does not paint. The chamber block itself practically does not repel from the housing, and the back cover is unevenly divided into two parts - matte and corrugated. What is not a modern design?

Feelings - another question. Is it convenient lying a smartphone in hand? This is not the most convenient device that I kept in my hands - still, a display with a diagonal of 6.6 inches dictates the device dimensions - but due to a small weight, the hand does not have time to get tired. To compactness, far, but are we still not used to big smartphones? Interceptions in one hand - our everything!

Elements on the edges of the housing are the usual: the volume swing and the blocking button is the right, the full-fledged sim tray - on the left, and at the bottom - the 3.5 mm connector, speaker, microphone and charging connector. On the upper face of the front surface there is a LED backlight - now it can be found far from all smartphones.

90 Hz - every house!

The screen reminded me a little about the past - everything because of the IPS matrix and its permission, which is HD + (1600x720 points). You can see the pixels only if the screen is glad for a long time, so I did not see problems in the resolution (the cost of the smartphone also affects it). But it has an interesting feature in the form of an increased up to 90 Hz update frequency.

And I never missed me a smartphone during tests - the interface is drawn smoothly, quickly and without artifacts. There is a small question for gestures (I will tell about this in a video review), but it seemed to me, the feature of the shell (talk about it later). The reserve of brightness is enough and on the street, the viewing angles are good - in general, with careful optimism, but also without admiration.

I almost forgot: the smartphone is very "fun" equipment! When was the last time you saw a protective film in a box with a device? Usually it is already pasted on the screen "from the plant", but for presence - plus. There is also a simple silicone case, clip, documentation, a 10-watt power supply, as well as a microusb cable. Yes, here we are limited to the old connector - everything is in the name of savings.

The bundle "Power Supply - Cable" bundle works: to charge the battery with a volume of 5000 mA / h in about two hours - anything fast charge is not about (5V / 2A - everything that is available to us). The smartphone is holding the iron more than a day with normal use ("screen" time - about 7 hours).

What, even you can play?

TECNO SPARK 8C got not the most energy efficient 12-nanometer platform Unisoc Tiger T606 and Flash memory EMMC 5.1. Do not think that Unisoc is bad: the times are changing, and the processor with eight old Cortex-A75 / A55 cores (operate at 1.6 GHz), oddly enough, it may be enough. The results of the trottling test, as well as the tests of GeekBench 5 and CPDT (memory speed) you can see below. The result of the test Geekbench 5 is at the level of Redmi Note 7 with the Snapdragon 660 chip. The trottling test also showed that the chip is not at all decaying the performance that is logical.

"User Exprices" is still only positive, and it is amazing: the smartphone system digesors, like some games - among those I started, are COD Mobile and Pubg (with simple graphics, ordinary textures and not an ideal frame rate - the game process will be in video). And this is on old nuclei! I do not understand how the smartphone is managed with its data to work so much.

Photo and video content

I will brief: the camera in the smartphone is extremely budget. The main module has a resolution of 13 MP, and the second module is designed to blur the rear background during portrait shooting. Quality in the pictures is breaking up during the day - you can get quite good photos. From the video, the situation is similar - the day the picture is more or less tolerable, digital zoom works, and without delay.

At night (or under insufficient lighting), the situation is rapidly deteriorating - the detailing is weak even in the night mode, which is turned on with a smartphone with a lack of light automatically, snapshots can be lubricated. As a result - Tecno Spark 8c is not for incredibly beautiful photos, but it will not be particularly demanding people.

Shell

A few words about the HIOS, on which the smartphone works: the shell is pretty light and fast, places resembles pure Android, but with its own design, which confused with another is quite difficult. Most recently, an update was updated v7.6.0 - the shell did not throw and constantly work on it. Her full-fledged work and behavior I will demonstrate in a video review.

Communication modules and questions to the scanner of prints

From what is available in the smartphone - Bluetooth 4th version, Wi-Fi in two bands, NFC and LTE. My home complaint to the smartphone is an incomprehensible work scanner: it works relatively quickly, but he lacks accuracy. Sometimes you have to apply your finger several times to finally unlock your smartphone. Either this is a matter of habit, or flaw - will become clear over time.

Outcome

Obviously, the smartphone has its drawbacks - the unbearable camera, problems with the print scanner and not the most competitive processor. For many, they will become critical, but it is important to remember that, firstly, this is a budgetary device offering at quite a reasonable price, and secondly - its capabilities will be enough for social networks, surfing, games, calls, work with documents and multimedia. The device is not an advanced, but has a pleasant appearance and can perform what I demand from him, so to call it bad "just because ..." I can't.
