Work on the Roadster began in 2013. In a few years, the first prototype was presented to the general public, and in 2019 - the second. Now there is an active work on the third prototype, which is entrusted with high hopes.
The machine will be built on the basis of Lada Granta: use 70% of the details of this brand, including the 1.6-liter engine. The remaining 30% are original details. It is known that Roger has a unique sports design and a higher level of passive safety than its predecessors. Its main advantage is the lack of imported components, which is very important for the project in the current situation.
The developers team also noted that they consider the idea of producing a crossover and / or a four-seater sports compartment based on the Crimea car.
