The era of folding smartphones is successfully developing: almost three years have passed since the release of Samsung Galaxy Fold and various Chinese "discovers" - during this time the same Chinese brands have already mastered the principle of creating flexible smartphones, began to equip them with new features and refine existing ones.

Vivo, as one of the largest brands of China, simply could not stay aside: rumors about the company's folding device had already been walking enough long ago, and now they poured into the official presentation Vivo X Fold - perhaps the best flexible smartphone in the mobile market. Why is the best?

Vivo X Fold is built on the basis of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor - it did not become the first flexible smartphone with the world's best mobile processor (Honor Magic V transmits Hi), however, the performance potential from this fact is not reduced. To this add a quick flash drive UFS 3.1, LPDDR5 RAM, battery with not the largest volume of 4600 mA / h, but with support for 66-watt charging, wireless 50-watt charging and 10-watt reversive charging (I hope you are not Tired, while reading) and we get almost a tablet in our hands, on which it is convenient and play, and work, and in any position.

Like any other progressive folding smartphone, VIVO X FOLD has two screens at once - folding and external. The second one cannot be called a small - 6.53 inches (resolution of 2520x1080 points), and in the decomposed state, the screen diagonal is 8.03 inches (resolution 2160x1916 points). Both amoled matrices support the update frequency up to 120 Hz, and also tied on one fingerprint system: two scanners, and both are ultrasound, and when unlocking one of the second screens immediately becomes available for use. Progress is observed, and it is visible in appearance - when compared with the same Galaxy Z Fold one generation, you can see how the smartphone has stepped in advance.

Secondary smartphone capabilities - 6th generation Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB OTG, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers - give it even more paints. Better than this, probably, only the news that Vivo X FOLD is able to survive up to 300,000 "folding-folding" cycles - hinges tests led to such a result. What will be the real number - only time will show.

Prices for folding smartphones are no longer surprised - VIVO X FOLD did not exception: from 9000 yuan (~ 120700 r.) For variation of memory 12/256 GB. In China, sales started from April 15th, the date of entering the international market is still unknown.

From all this, you can make one simple conclusion - in the near future, users can abandon the tablets in favor of such folding devices. It is convenient (jeans / jackets can safely fit), but so far incredibly expensive - companies give out such devices for premium, which is justified, however, it does not cancel high costs when creating a flexible smartphone.
