Hi, Zen!
The Russian mobile market may wait for changes: it is not entirely clear which brands will be leading in the future and which of them will increase "active users." For example, it has already appeared about the fact that people began to prefer the average segment of flagships more often, and this indicates possible increased demand for Korean and Chinese smartphones in the future.
There are thoughts about the urgent purchase of a new smartphone - what if the price of a certain model increases noticeably, or the device will disappear at all? They can be called logical - a person quickly gets used to the definite "stacked", which he does not want to refuse. The most obvious example is Apple smartphones: in the network, users also talk about the cessation of sales, and to suspend the operation of services, and the potential locking of smartphones, but people still plan to buy fresh iPhone models.
Is it worth spending money on an expensive smartphone now?
It applies not only to iPhones - among smartphones based on Android, there are a large number of flagships who have also grown in price. There is uncertainty - do we see smartphones on sale? What will be the prices? Do I need to run to the store?
I am not an expert, and I can not argue anything with a one hundred percent probability, but I will try to calm down with words understandable for anyone even distant from the topic of the person: without smartphones and other gadgets, buyers will definitely not remain. Reducing supplies from one brand may well mean increased interest in this other brand. The mobile market is large, and the opportunity on it is also big.
The price is another question: due to changing the cost of currencies, smartphones and other gadgets are constantly growing / falling in price, and there is no clear definiteness. If you are already using a device that you can last a year or two, it's not worth a hurry with his shift.
What will happen to the smartphone market?
Do not want to spend money on a new device? There is an alternative way out of the situation - the used market for smartphones. Why is he profitable? For example, for the iPhone 8th generation and more younger models have not yet been completed "Life cycle", i.e. This and other Apple smartphones will receive upgrades in the future. In order to "reset" - the perfect option. But you need to take into account and increased demand: now the secondary market of smartphones is interested in much more people, because of which the price can even grow.
Now as ever is important and relevant: it is best to choose a smartphone, the filling of which is enough for the next few years. One of the reasons why people are inclined to the middle segment are a bunch of a productive processor and fast memory, which in medium-budget smartphones are usually put in priority. Photos and appearance is, of course, well, but much more important than the software, with which the smartphone will be able to work even in a few years.
As for the market as a whole, it seems to me that the situation will not change dramatically - at least there is no prerequisites for this. It is possible that any of the manufacturers can reduce the model range, develop models exclusively for our market or raise the price (which happens constantly), but you will not have to worry about the complete absence of gadgets.
