AMD General Director Lisa Su will share the companys vision during the main report Computex 2022
- May 21
Until now, AMD has only confirmed that AMD Advancing the High-Performance Computing Experience, "clearly pointing out the future products of Ryzen and Radeon. This information was included in the Taitra/AMD press release two weeks ago.
Today, AMD has updated its cometex website, posting an invitation to the upcoming performance on May 23. The description of the website tells us a little more than the previous PR materials. Apparently, AMD CEO will discuss the vision of the company “Innovations for the next generation mobile and desktop PC”, which is the first confirmation that the event will cover new products, and not only those that are already available.
Last year, the Radeon RX 6000M series has announced the Computex AMD, which was later updated by faster and effective GPUs. In addition, the teaser of the future (at that time) FSR 1.0 scaling technology was shown. It is likely that FSR 2.0 will become part of the event this year.
AMD also said that it is being developed by a new 3D V-Cache technology processor. The Ryzen 7 5800x3D exit took many months, but it was such far -fetched announcements that should be expected on this leitmotis.
According to some rumors, AMD is going to present the next generation AM5 platform, including motherboard with X670 and X670E chipsets. It is also worth expecting new information about Zen4 and Raphael (Ryzen 7000 processors).
COMPUTEX 2022 may be the last major event before the appearance of the Radeon RX 7000 architecture (based on the RDNA3 architecture). The company is likely to hold a separate event as soon as new cards are ready to launch, but Computex seems to be a great place to tell us more about the new series. Tizers of the gameplay with a new generation graphics will probably not go unnoticed by fans.
