Unfortunately, there are no SKU names or the start date of the Ryzen 7000 series, but today AMD will present the next generation desktop on Computex along with motherboards X670E, X670 and B650.
AMD confirms that the Ryzen 7000 series will support the PCIe Gen5 standard, as well as DDR5 memory technology. The LGA1718 socket will maintain compatibility with AM4 coolers. In addition, rumors about powerful TDP SKU were confirmed. The next generation AM5 socket will maintain power up to 170 watts, but specifically for Ryzen 7000 this is not mentioned.
As for productivity, AMD states that its Zen4 nucleus architecture will provide more than a 15 percent increase in one-time (unfortunately, there are no footnotes explaining that it is compared here), 2 times larger (1 MB) L2 cache and maximum maximum cache and maximum Acceleration compared to 5 GHz.
In addition, AMD finally revealed what is under a new radiator. There are two 5-nm chipset Zen4 nucleus and one 6-nm input-output. Obviously, there is no place for the third PPS, but it is actually impossible to say how this design will develop in the next generations.
AMD also confirms that the Zen4 desktop processor will have a built -in RDNA2 graphics. The new Ryzen 7000 table processors series should officially be released “this fall”.
