The new Apple chips of the Milia "M" provide increased computing power and excellent energy consumption (energy efficiency). In November last year, Qualcomm announced its plans to compete with Apple using the next generation based on ARM for the PC market. Earlier this week, it became known that Qualcomm will release its first competitor "M1" for the PC by the end of 2023.
It was recently discovered that Qualcomm will compete with Apple M-series chips later in 2023 (through Tom's Hardware). The new chips will be “designed to establish the PC performance standard with Windows” and will be developed by the NUVIA team. According to Qualcomm, future chips will directly compete with Apple M1, M1 Pro and M1 Max and provide increased performance and battery life for PCs.
During last year’s profit and loss report, Qualcomm, the CEO of the company Christian Amon said that the Nuvia team has achieved progress in the development of processors based on ARM. He also stated that the Nuvia team will focus on the performance of the chips, and Nuvia laptops will be available to users at the end of 2023.
Earlier it was reported that Qualcomm will provide OEM manufacturers with Nuvia chips in August this year. Now the plan is shifted to the second half of 2022. After the testing stage, the first NUVIA device for the buyer will be available at the end of 2023.
