AMD Radeon RX 6950XT is a new flagship Radeon video card with a NAVI 21 KXTX graphic processor. This is the full implementation of the best RDNA2 desktop graphic processor with 5120 stream processors and 80 rays accelerators. The card will be delivered from 16 GB of memory GDDR6, which will now work at a speed of 18 Gb/s. The main changes made to this SKU are a faster memory and an increased payment of the board to 335 W.
In its marketing materials, the company makes it clear that the RX 6950XT should compete with the RTX 3090 model without Ti. However, we managed to get some comparisons with RTX 3090 Ti. AMD RX 6950XT is sold at a price of 1099 US dollars, which is $ 100 more than the RX 6900XT at launch.
AMD Radeon RX 6750XT is a SKU based on NAVI 22 with 2560 stream processors, 12GB of memory GDDR6 18 Gb/s and 250 watts TBP. From the point of view of design and power, this part can be an alternative (and not replacing) the Radeon RX 6800 graphic processor without XT, which is one of the least supplied AMD graphic processors. According to the manufacturer, the RX 6750XT will directly compete with the GeForce RTX 3070 series. As for the price, this card will be sold at a price of 549 US dollars, which is much more than we used to see in the Radeon X700 series.
The reference designs of AMD RX 6950XT and RX 6750XT will become available in the AMD store later. Nevertheless, this launch is focused on affiliate maps, the reserves of which have grown over the past few weeks, so the availability of these cards should be pretty good.
