In the current situation, when the price of the components of the PC fell well, the choice of the processor for many becomes quite complicated. Therefore, today we will discuss the most profitable options, in my opinion.
- #intel Core i3-10100f:
4 nuclei and 8 flows, even in 2022, are able to issue acceptable performance in games. Not picky for the motherboard and cooling, since it is quite cold.
- Intel Core i3-12100f:
On board all the same 4 cores are 8 flows, but already on the fresh architecture of Alder Lake, therefore the process of 10 nm. This i3 will be faster than i5-10400F in most games.
- Intel Core i5-11400f:
It remains relevant due to its 6 nuclei of 12 flows and a fairly low price. On its basis, you can still assemble a fairly powerful PC, for example: MSI B560M Pro-VDH + CP 11400F + MSI B560M Pro-VDH + Find the Crucial Ballistix + RTX 3060 Ti RAM, while you can prompate the assembly to the Core i7-11700/11700F.
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600
But if we are talking about buying only from China, then in this case it is worth choosing a Ryzen 5600. When assembling it, you can save well, for example, taking a motherboard B450, instead of B550, especially with #NVIDIA graphics cards (their performance depends little on the version PCIE).
R5 5600 is slightly behind the Ryzen 5600X, but for its price it is an excellent alternative to i5-11400F both from the store and with Aliexpress, or Avito.
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
If you do not like to buy R5 5600 from China, then Ryzen 5600X is your choice. After all, it is sold in the Russian Federation (Avito and large stores) and in China.
Ryzen 5600x is a rather hot percent, so the choice of cooling is important, especially if you want to accelerate. I advise you to take a closer look at Deepcool AK620, DeepCool Neptwin V2, or to his (as an example: Cougar Aqua 240).
- Intel Core i5-12400f
Many users liked this processor for the fact that all of its 6 nuclei are productive, unlike the older 12-generation Intel models. Produced 10 nm technology process, architecture: Alder Lake. In some games, 12400f shows itself better than 5600x.
You can take the B660 motherboard, the average cooler for 3-4 heating pipes, disperse and configure the RAM and sit calmly like that. But there may be problems with the upgrade, since most likely you have to sell the entire base.
- Intel Core i9-12900k
A powerful, expensive and hot processor. The characteristics are quite specific: 8 productive, 8 energy -efficient nuclei and 24 streams. At the moment, the most powerful among the user CPU for PC.
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d
This 8-year-old man made a lot of noise among PC lovers. All due to the use of AMD 3D V-Cache technology. In other words, the AMD released at first glance an ordinary processor, with the volume of cache-memory of the third level in as many as 96 MB! Because of what this CPU became the best for the AM4 socket games. A great option for upgrade with some Ryzen 2600/3600.
5800x3D is not whimsical to the motherboard, and RAM is enough at a frequency of 3600 - 3733 MHz (with timing setting). You can take a good cooler as cooling (the same Neptwin V2), or medium-budget (240 mm).
- AMD Ryzen 9 5900x/ 5950x
But if it comes to high performance in working tasks, then the choice is best made in favor of AMD top -end processors. But you can play games, especially if the RTX video card of the 20th or 30th series, or AMD RX 6000.
If we compare 12900K and 5950X, then in different tasks the advantage goes from processor to the processor. It is worth noting that the assembly on AMD will be cheaper, with a slight lag in performance. But 5900x will quite significantly lose 12900k
This top is subjective, I do not say: "Take only what is listed in the article!" You may have a different view of which processors are worthy of the attention of users (I will be happy to listen to your opinion in the comments).
