In the most compact family of Aaeon processor boards, a new model appeared. The Pico-V2K4 fee is made in the Pico-ITX form factor (100 x 72 mm) and uses the processors of the AMD V2000 family. Despite the small dimensions, the board is equipped with four universal sequential ports RS-232/422/485 and an 8-bit discrete interface. The novelty is intended for built -in solutions in the field of industrial automation and the entertainment industry.
Depending on the modification, either the six -core V2516 or the eight -core V2718 is installed on the fee. The processor heat packet can change in the range from 10 to 25 W and an active cooler or a radiator of sufficient area will be required to cool the processor. To work, the processor uses the RAM LPDDR4, the chips of which are soldered directly on the board. The volume can be from 4 to 16 GB. The accumulator for placing the operating system and data can serve as a SATA device or M.2 SSD. The expansion board can be installed in the Mini PCI Express slot.
Due to small dimensions, connectors for external connections on the board fit a little. These are two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three USB 3.2 nests and nutrition. The internal connectors are connected: 4 COM ports, 4 nests of the USB 2.0 tire, a discrete interface, an audio column, a video interface LVDS.
As an option, cables for connecting to external connectors, a heat voltage plate and an active cooler are attached to the board. The power supply is from an external direct current with a voltage of 12 volts. The power supply schemes can operate both in ATX mode and in AT mode (always turned on).
