Specialists of an independent repair workshop published a brief analysis of the new iPhone 14. They rated the maintainability of the smartphone for seven points out of ten - this is the highest rating since the time of the iPhone 7.

The first thing they praised in ifixit was the removable back cover. Now, to replace the battery in the smartphone, you do not need to disassemble the entire device. The designs of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are identical, in fact, they consist of a display, a frame with most internal components and a rear glass panel.

The lid is held on two screws, a jet and a connector. The display is held on the same components, but the glue is stronger.

The Apple's reference documentation says that after replacing the rear panel, software calibration is required. It is not clear what will happen without calibration. Perhaps in the settings a warning will be displayed that the smartphone was repaired in an unauthorized service and the spare part can be non -original.

The iPhone 14 parsing previously appeared on the Web confirmed the presence of a Qualcomm X65 5G modem, capable of speeding up to 10 Gbit/s. Also, “Propes” received 6 GB of RAM of the LPDDR5 type.
