The team of scientists (Anthony Burachen and George Cann), in assistance with the artist Jesper Ericksson, used advanced technologies to restore the lost work of Van Gogh.

The picture was called "two fighters". Anthony Burachen, who was responsible for machine learning, said that:

Scientists proved the belonging of the work of Van Gogh due to the similarity of the smears of a brush with the style of the artist, and the plot of the work was a common topic at the Antwerp Art Academy, where Van Gogh studied in 1886.

Also, in January 1886, Van Gog wrote a letter to his brother. In it, the artist spoke about his work, which depicts two fighters.

Thanks to this method, other lost works were recreated. So, a painted image of a woman was found under the picture of Pablo Picasso "Breakfast of the Blind."
