Documents from the presentation of Intel of the new processors Raptor Lake were included in the network. They describe the characteristics of several new generation CPU. Core i9-13900K with 24 nuclei will operate at a frequency of up to 5.8 GHz, and the base frequency will be 2.2 GHz for small nuclei and 3 GHz for large. The CPU will be able to work with the memory of DDR5-5600, their TDP is 125 watts, and the maximum consumption is indicated equal to 253 watts for the Core i9 and Core i7 and 181 watts in the case of Core i5. It can also be noted that the Core i7-13700K looks better in parameters than the Core i9-12900K, approaching the Core i9-12900ks. At the same time, the updated architecture should make a novelty faster.
In the list of 13th generation processors Core i9-13900K/KF, Core i7-13700K/KF and Core i5-13600K/KF. Here are the characteristics of these CP:
Intel demonstrated Raptor Lake at the Investor Day 2022 event. Then we learned that Core i9 is the flagship model. The demonstration of the working load in Blender and After Effects did not give any performance data. Fortunately, we saw many other tests that give us the best idea of how Raptor Lake will look like. However, as in the case of all the tests, all the data below should be treated with a share of skepticism. The reason is that they are often carried out with pre -production silicon and non -optimized platforms, which means that the final results can be significantly better.
The announcement of processors is expected on September 27. Let me remind you that on the same day the processors from AMD should take place.
