The creator of the famous series "Babylon 5" said that the chances of launching rebooting for the project were soon increased.

J. Michael Strazhinsky recalls that Babylon 5 was one of the most popular fantastic series in the world, yielding to the Star Way for a longer story. Nevertheless, the Star cruiser: Galaxy, although it followed a similar plot idea, has a much more niche audience than Babylon 5, which was broadcast by the former TV-6 channel.

In the center of the plot, there were events at the intergalactic space station, where representatives of different races crammed their intrigues, and positive characters tried to expose them, protecting the station from external alien threats.

They tried to restart the series many times, but this did not succeed, since the project is quite expensive and risky. It is not known whether it will be just as popular now that there are a lot of streaming with expensive series in different genres like the Lord of the Rings.

Nevertheless, Strazhinski firmly decided to place the reloading project on the CW channel. The shares in the latter recently reduced Warner Bros. And CBS, but the author is sure that the WB will fulfill the old promise and will become a production company of rebooting for placement on the updated CW platform.

The latter was now bought by the Nexstar holding, which is very interesting to revive Babylon 5 in CW in the light of the nearest closure on the channel of almost all series on DC comics. The last, apparently, for a couple of years will lose the Flash with the 9th season, Superman and Lois, Knights Gotham.

It is quite realistic to reload Babylon 5, and even some of the same actors will be ready to play some cameo for the growth of the popularity of the project.

Strazhinsky notes that in the coming weeks the key issue of the project will be resolved - approval or disapproval of the filming of the pilot series, which can become a bridge for ordering 1 season.
