TDP CPU will be 65 watts
According to an insider, known on Twitter under the nickname Momo_us, AMD is working on a more affordable version of the 8-core processor Ryzen 7 7700x. The new model will receive the Ryzen 7 7700 designation.
The insider indicates that with the same 8 cores TDP CPU will be 65 watts. That is, the frequencies will be lower than the Ryzen 7 7700x, but the price should also be lower. Given that Intel Core 13 processors have already been sold, and there are many more models in the current line of “blue”, and the prices are set quite adequate, AMD now we need to increase the number of “folk” 6- and 8-core CPUs in the Ryzen 7000 line for more successful competition.
Momo_us was already noted by many leaks subsequently confirmed. For example, in May 2020, he declassified the line of Intel Core 10 processors a few weeks before their official premiere.
