The Russian multi purpose nuclear submarine of a special project is preparing to get up on the Boer duty Pass the tests in the sea
- Nov 30
In 2014, the K-560 Severodvinsk submarine included in the Russian Navy, the construction of which took 20 years. This is the first multi -purpose submarine of the ash project with a unique design and the first submarine laid not in the Soviet Union, but already in Russia.
The development of the underwater fleet is ongoing, and now work is underway to create even more advanced Blood Pillaries.
In the late 1970s, the defense complex was given the task of developing the concept of a 4th generation submarine. By this time, the system of three design bureaus in the field of underwater shipbuilding had developed. Fulfilling the task, the designers of the RUBIN Central Design Code concentrated on the creation of an atomic underwater cruiser with winged anti -ship missiles, which in the West are called “killers of aircraft carriers”. Lazurita specialists took up the creation of an anti -submarine submarine with a titanium building. And in Malachite they worked on the most promising project - a multi -purpose submarine.
During the construction, it became clear that with the improvement of the characteristics of future boats their price is growing, construction and maintenance are complicated. So, the idea of creating one best boat of three good things appeared, namely, the project 885 “Ash” originated. The designer of the new type of submarine was the Marine Bureau of Malachite. “Ash” was developed on the basis of projects 705 (K) “Lira”, 971 “Pike-B” and 949A “Antei” and had to replace them. The project used many technical solutions that were not previously used in domestic underwater shipbuilding, and it is not surprising that such a difficult task required a lot of time to implement.
The project, which could be launched into the series, was ready only by 1990. But due to the complex economic situation and the collapse of the USSR, the construction of a new boat, which was called the K-560 Severodvinsk, began only in 1993. And in 1996, work on its construction was stopped for long 8 years due to lack of funding. In the early 2000s, the work planned to resume, but it turned out that over the years that the boat spent on the slipway, part of the equipment managed to become obsolete, so they had to make serious changes, which also moved the deadlines for construction. In addition, problems arose with the production of components, since some of the factories producing them after the collapse of the USSR were on the territory of other states.
Construction work resumed only in 2004, and in 2010 the boat was launched and mooring tests began. In 2011, the boat first went to sea for factory tests, which, taking into account the time for revision, took three years. And finally, in 2014, it was accepted into the Russian Navy.
The main advantage of the Severodvinsk Premier League is a mixed structural system that reduces noise and makes the boat almost invisible. Severodvinsk also has “sensitive ears”, allowing it to recognize the enemy ships and submarines at a distance of about 250 km. The case of the submarine is made of small -magnetic super -strength steel, which allows to plunge to a depth of 600 meters.
The domestic IT project SFERA implements an ambitious idea of creating a digital ecosystem for development. The release is soon. Download the early version of the application by the link. Thank you for your trust.
After completing work on the construction of Severodvinsk, all subsequent ships were created according to the updated project 885m or Yasen-M. As part of this project, the Krasnoyarsk underwater cruiser was built, which first entered the White Sea for running tests this summer. During these events, the crew will check the operation of on -board equipment and various systems. It is necessary to determine the seafarer and operational qualities of the submarine, as well as confirm their compliance with the project. And then there is a practical check of weapons. It is likely that at the end of 2022, Krasnoyarsk may replenish the composition of the Russian Navy.
The K-571 cruiser Krasnoyarsk is a multi-purpose atomic submarine with mine-torpedo and missile weapons, capable of finding and attacking underwater, surface and coastal targets. The boat is equipped with a nuclear power plant based on the OK-650V reactor with a heat capacity of 190 MW, which is able to work without replacing fuel up to 25-30 years. According to a specialist in military political science, Konstantin Sivkov, the submarine of project 885m in the future will be able to become the main shock force of the Russian underwater fleet.
Now Russia is actively developing an atomic submarine of the 5th generation "Husky". Most of the characteristics of the future Premier League are military secret, but some information about the features of the ADL device of this type can still be found in open sources. It is assumed that the Husky will be equipped with Zircon hypersonic missiles. The CIRCON GZKR, possessing a marching speed of more than 7000 km/h, is able to hit targets at a distance of up to 1000 km. In terms of sizes, the submarines of this project will be smaller than the 885m "nursery" project. It is believed that this should positively affect the maneuverability and secrecy of the new generation. And also the Husky will be almost completely silent, its noises will merge with the background noise of the oceans and highlight the acoustic field of the submarine against the background of other noise of natural and biological origin, it will be technically impossible.
Silent atom -like “Husky” can be the perfect weapon of Russia to strike a quick and global blow to any likely enemy.
According to the head of the United Shipbuilding Corporation Alexei Rakhmanov, the development work (OCD) for this project should begin in 2023, and the completion of construction is scheduled for 2027.
