Toyota has surpassed competitors from Germany in terms of sales in 2025
The achieved results allowed Toyota Motor to once again confirm its status as the undisputed leader of the global automotive industry.
Toyota's largest market overseas was the United States, where more than 2.51 million vehicles were sold, driven by strong demand for hybrid models even amid the tariff policies of President Donald Trump's administration.
At the same time, the group's sales in the Chinese market showed growth of only 0.2%, reaching approximately 1.78 million vehicles.
The Japanese automobile giant Toyota Motor demonstrated outstanding performance results over the past year.
The increase in recycling collection, which came into force on December 1, 2025, became one of the key factors that reshaped the Russian car market.
According to a market participant, buyers are especially in demand for cars from German, Korean and Japanese brands with engines up to 160 hp, including VW Golf, Audi A3, BMW X1 and other models.
“In China, due to increased demand, prices increased by an average of 15–25 thousand yuan (164.7–274.5 thousand rubles), which is 10–15% of the price in September–October last year. It has become 150-160 thousand rubles more expensive to deliver a turnkey car,” Trofimov noted.
Sellers in China have indexed the cost of cars against the backdrop of sharply increased demand, car suppliers and dealers told Izvestia.
UZHKH noted that the current rate of motorization does not make it possible to meet the needs of car owners for the required number of free parking spaces in the city.
Drivers are given 40 minutes for free parking at the Penza I railway station. If they stay longer, they will charge a fee.
For Station Square Penza-1, it was decided to choose a paid parking format.
The accumulation and disorderly movement of cars disturbed not only buses and minibuses, but also pedestrians, who had to constantly look around to avoid getting run over.
