An article about the development was published in the journal Nature Communications.

The development imitates the principle of operation of the biological retina, focusing exclusively on moving objects, which has radically reduced the computational load and reaction time.

According to the researchers, the ultra-fast response of the technology opens up new possibilities for autonomous vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
