Scientists have found that job changes and chaotic eating threaten liver health
Researchers have found that the liver releases proteins into the bloodstream in waves according to a 24-hour rhythm, controlled by the body's biological clock and depending in particular on the timing of meals.
Dr Benjamin Weger added that the study is an important step towards understanding the link between the liver's biological clock and obesity.
Dr. Weger says that experts have seen the maintenance of healthy liver rhythms in people with a regular diet.
Control of blood sugar and fat levels is lost, inflammatory processes increase, which increases the risk of developing obesity and metabolic diseases.
