There is no risk of fire: organic batteries will replace lithium-ion ones
Scientists have come up with an organic replacement for lithium-ion batteries.
BYD reported major progress in the development of next-generation solid-state sulfide batteries and sodium-ion batteries.
Specific models have not yet been disclosed, but new technologies, according to the company, can significantly increase the service life, charging speed and overall economic efficiency of future electric vehicles.
In addition to sulfide batteries with solid-state electrolyte, global manufacturers are experimenting with oxide and polymer ones.
